- Life span: 20 years
- Characteristics: the wild yack is a robust ruminant which lives in the mountains of Tibet. After a nine-month gestation period, the female gives birth to a single calf.
- Meal: it eats grass and weighs up to 600 kg.
- Anecdote: in summer, the yacks at Planète Sauvage like dipping their bellies in water to cool down.
