Chapman's Zebra

From the same family as horses, zebras are African herbivores. The stripes on each one are unique, which enables them to recognise each other within the herd. They weigh around 200kg and have a gestation period of one year just like all equidae.

Though Chapman’s zebras are considered low risk, their relatives the Grévy's zebra and the Hartman's zebra are endangered.

Zebras' main predators are lions. When being chased, the herd of zebras becomes a blurred vision thanks to their stripes which makes it difficult for predators to pick out their prey.
