The Greater Kudu

Weighing up to 250kg, they have large, highly mobile ears and the males have long, superb, spiralling horns. They live in herds in woodland areas from which the males are often excluded. A single calf is born following a gestation period of 7 and a half months.
Diet: they live on leaves and grasses.
