The Giraffe

the tallest mammals in the world, they can measure over 5m and males can weigh over a ton. They prefer to live in groups rather than alone. The gestation period is 15 and a half months. Giraffes give birth standing to a calf measuring 1-2m.
Diet: their long, grey, prehensile tongues are used to pick acacia leaves at up to 6m high.
