After a gestation period of 90 days, the female gives birth to a 3 – to 5 – strong litter which she alone will rear. The cheetah lives on the savannah and grasslands of Africa.
- Meal: gazelles and young antelopes form the cheeta’s usual prey. Lions and hyenas are known to poach the cheeta’s catch and may also threaten its Young.
