- Characteristics: thanks to their powerful claws, coatis are brilliant climbers and spend most of their time in trees. Males live alone and females join in groups of 20 individuals.
- Anecdote: during breeding season, pregnant females built a nest. Inside, they can take care of their newborn while protected from their predators.
